Jay and I were getting ready to do a live round of "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" at Orycon a few years back. We were goofing around before the game started, and -- I kid you not -- a ceiling panel fell on my head. Much consternation ensued, of course, and after taking a moment to make sure I was all right, Jay pointed dramatically at the brand-new hole in the ceiling and declaimed, "Oh my stars! It's full of gods!!"
This not only calmed down the audience and put the event back on a cheerful footing, it's possibly the most brilliant ad-lib I've ever heard in my life. So there, Jay.
