want your own LOLMac?

I will be at both Gatecon and MTM this summer, and thanks to the solid gold wonderfulness of gategrrl560 , we will once again have the little laminated LOLMacs to give away as buttons.  And we've solved the problem of the pins falling off!

Now the hard part:  I'm currently doing the final selection of which LOLMacs to print.  So -- what are your favourites?   I know what mine are, but that's only my perspective.

It doesn't matter if you aren't going to be attending either event (although if you are, you better come say hi to me!)  I always end up with extras after a convention, and I'd be happy to mail some if they're wanted.  Or you can just enjoy the satisfaction of being part of the Selection Committee!  Put it on your resume!

Also -- you don't need to try to find a given LOLMac in the archive, or tell me when it was posted, or even try to remember what its 'official title' was.  I have a spreadsheet with all that information.  (Otherwise I'd never be able to do the linkbacks or find anything . . . )

My favorites:

And the string theory one...whatever that was.

It is probably symptomatic of the state of my brain that the first one I thought of was "We had a genrul but we losted him." My brain is a weird place to be right now.

Other LOLs I like and/or quote regularly are... well, the ones I asked you to iconify, of course, "ur Mac haz a DOS" and "gonna do Shakespeare"... also "dere's a guy on ur windshield" comes to mind, though I'm not sure how well it would read as a little tiny pin. Same goes for "was much bigger before **** bujjit cutz" and "fergit wormhole physics, anyone understand the insurance plan?"

"Asgard callin - brb" is just pretty (and quotable if only anyone else in my world would get it).

Oh, and "in ur library shushin ur books"! I ♥ that one.

There are probably lots more I'm not thinking of right now. Haven't read through the archive in a few little whiles.
