Oh, beer and BBQ won't work at all! That'll clear the area of wild MacGyvers faster than almost anything!

Of course, if you happen to have a problem with too many free-range MacGyvers wandering around . . . um . . . what was the problem exactly?

With a little food colouring, and a careful attention to pressing one's extra-firm tofu well before cutting it, one could absolutely assemble a delicious teriyaki tofu Rubik's cube.

Functional? Er. Not really, no. But by then, the trap would be sprung!

The crestfallen trapper studied the ruins of her trap with a look of chagrin. The trap had apparently been sprung from a safe distance with a cunning arrangement of long tree branches, fishing line, and gooseberries. In the centre, only scraps and crumbs of multicoloured tofu remained of the bait.

She examined the patterns of the coloured remnants and picked up several of the crumbs, shaking her head. “Now that’s just showing off.” The wily MacGyver had even solved the Rubik’s cube before eating it.
