News Flash!

The imitable katxander, who drew the “Blowing out the Camel” cartoon for my birthday, has discovered the fate of the notorious Shirt.

Kat’s cartoon characters include toddler versions of Jack and Daniel, aka Dak and Danny. Danny, it seems, is prone to adopting unwanted and unappreciated, um, things: the two items that look like lovestruck haystacks are the grey and brown mullet wigs used in the “MacGruber meets MacGyver” skits on Saturday Night Live.

A small boy who will adopt mullets will definitely rescue an unloved shirt from the heartless Fashion Police.

Kat has provided the following translation of Danny and Dak’s private dialect:
“Hey, Jack! Look at what I found out in a place in Vancouver! It’s a hula shirt or something.”
“I know I’m colour blind, but I think you’re just blind, Danny . . . whoa . . . you’re scaring Khufu.”
