Just imagine if it never came out at all! We'd get a big mooshy build-up of music and it would get all thick and clotted and grotty and . . . hey, maybe that's where industrial and techno "music" comes from!

No, I'd say Barry Manilow is the instant mashed potatoes of music. Techno and industrial is more like the lutefisk of music.

Do any of you good folks know the story (and there's a sequel, now) by someone who's on lj, I think Salieri? who wrote a good SG1 plus MacGyver story and I think Pennies might be in the title? I loved it, remember bits and pieces and will know it all perfectly as soon as I read it again (you know how that goes in fanfic?!) but a friend asked if there were any stories with both Mac and Jack in them and I thought of this one.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
