Geez, you're right. I'd noticed how unnervingly well the hair matched -- they hadn't messed with it too badly yet -- but the stereo Puppy Dog Eyez is even more amazing.
This is obviously a job for the barber-surgeon (as they used to be known). The mortality rate for this particular operation is fortunately very low, although mullets have been known to turn out funny looking in the first weeks following the surgery. This makes them indistinguishable from ordinary mullets in practical terms.
Whiskey has that patient "He's being a nutball again, but I'm a monotheist, and he's the One, so I'll deal" look that dogs get sometimes.
