FWIW -- it seems that LJ has been under continuous DDOS attack for several days now. Apparently there's a prominent Russian blogger who has pissed off the Bad Guys in a very big way -- posting about big-time corruption and refusing to shut up about it -- and they're trying to knock him offline.

The amazing thing is that LJ has stayed standing as well as it has. There are a lot of Black Hats in Russia.
