No, wait. You see, that's the 1974 Petard (you can tell by the grillwork). They always have to be coaxed that way to get them to sit up, it's something to do with the rear thermocoupling, which was altered in that model year. They went back to the old thermocoupling in the '75 model because of all the complaints. I mean, what good is a truck you can't train, right?

Wrong? I don't agree. One seldom sees a petard being hoisted so elegantly.

Dear Mac,

If you insist on keeping vehicles as pets, rather than the more conventional animal kind, you must come to terms that outside of computers, they don't tend to be endowed with much in the way of intelligence. Given your otherwise masterful grasp of political correctness, I must say that I am a little disappointed that you would use such a derogatory term for your poor jeep, which has no control over it's ability (or inability) to think or calculate.

Additionally, it is important to use some foresight when planning for your pet's needs. Jeeps are large heavy objects, and special arrangements must be made for lifting them. Your usual spur-of-the-moment methods are admittedly inspired, but clearly not quite adequate to the task at hand. There are times when special equipment must be used, even by mechanical geniuses.

That is all,
Thothmes

You *never* go "full petard"!
