It's a cheap café; a more normal price could be up to one Euro. It would cost more (I suspect) in Milan/Venice/Florence, less in Rome and southwards.
Competent-barista-made espresso and quality durum wheat pasta are the two things that are cheaper and easier to find in Italy than anywhere else I've been. On the other hand, finding a Venti Latte might be impossible in the whole country.
