Well, at least he didn't throw the book at her. Indeed, instead of having no truck with her, she seems to be about to get a voluminous smile. Pencil me in for some of that.
Better yet can we all be penned in with that? He looks entirely too blue. We need to work on fixing this.
I keep finding that I need a book icon mounted, and yet I don't. I guess I too need to book it, and get one made.
When we got engaged, I made a point of warning Beloved Husband that taking me on for a lifetime would entail a lifetime of building bookcases, and was he prepared to take that on as well? As we did a major renovation on our house, he said rather plaintively, that although he had been prepared to spend his life building bookcases, he really wished I'd warned him that this also meant having to build more house in which to keep those bookcases.
My nearest and dearest have been known to opine that I'll probably be found, suffering from a serious case of deadness, in great old age, having been trapped when a tunnel I'd made though the solid mass of books will have collapsed on me.

I'm with you...you can never have too many books, just not enough bookcases! Thankfully, my sons share my passion for the printed page, so we all have our own ever-growing libraries! I have so many interests, someone visiting is bound to find something to read.
The Dream Home *will* have floor-to-ceiling bookshelves, if I have to build them myself.
