That would be a very, very smallll spaceship, as well as an invisible one. Given that they are in California, I think the first thing to do is wait several hours, until all the smalllllll things (not to mention the biiiiiiig things) return to their normal size. This will probably greatly reduce the number of invizubal objects in the vicinity as well.
