He'd not be pinin'! 'E'd be passed on! This knight 'ud be no more! He'd cease to be! 'E'd expire and go to meet 'is maker! 'E'd be a stiff! Bereft of life, 'e'd rest in peace! If you didn't nailed 'im to the 'orse 'e'd be pushing up the daisies! 'Is metabolic processes would be 'istory! 'E'd be off the twig! 'E'd kick the bucket, 'e'd shuffle off 'is mortal coil, run down the curtain and join the bleedin' choir invisibile!!He's f*ckin' snuff it!..... THIS 'UD BE AN EX-KNIGHT!!
I love Mac's dubious expression here. Clearly he thinks the guy is a beak short of a bird, a few crackers short of a parrot, a perch shy of an aviary... etc.
What's needed here, obviously, is an Inquisition. Fetch the Comfy Chair!

My favorite Monty Python sketch, btw, was the Queen Victoria Race, simply because it just took me by surprise, and was visually so amusing with the variety of shapes and sizes.
There used to be a witty and very well done video that one of my kids collected in the wild (alas, gone now from the interwebz as far as I can tell) of SG-1 clips with the audio of the Holy Handgrenade, and starring Jack as the King, and Daniel as the knight trying to get him to count properly. The kid lost a hard drive in a terrible computer accident (something happened while it was in the care and custody of the TSA, we think), and her copy was lost, so I'm afraid I can't share it with you.

I have a particular fondness for the Greeks vs. Germans philosophers' football game, but there are so many good ones . . . !
