Oh! I'm touched... especially since I threw out my suggestion as the Only Thing That Came to Mind, and waited eagerly for your clever flist to come up with something clearly wittier, because they are good that way. Kudos to sid, who very obviously did.

I like the way you've tweaked what I said. A definite improvement.

Now I just have to figure out how to make the touching a little more tangible, a mite more hands-on, a stroke more... *wistful sigh*

I have, had that jacket*. (I mean, how would still have it? *cough*) That same kind. And I wore it Every. Single. Day. With the sleeves like that and the bottom button broken from an unfortunate accident in metal shop.

Sigh...oh, the eighties...what were we thinking?

*Yes, I know everyone had that jacket or one like it, but it was huge for me because I somehow got an actual Levi's one and that did not happen in my house. They cost too much! So, yes. Every. Single Day. I'd wear it long after it was far too cold for it, even. But what'cha gonna do? I had to be "cool," right? With my mullet and everything. *facepalm*
