I don't have a strong position on that, but I took a straw poll, and the grassroots position is that he doesn't look like a flake. Clearly what we are seeing is cereal beefcake. The fan girls all want to stem stalk him.
Having seen Gladiator however, I am a little concerned, because following that, I know that hanging out where there is wheat is BAD! BAD! Maybe it's all those wheat germs? Hope he doesn't catch them!
