*fail* I always fergitted the mouseover text! It's the best part, but for so long it didn't work for me since FF is a limited benevolent master.

You'll find instructions there for how to install a Firefox add-in that will give you the mouseover text, more formally known as the ALT text. The add-on is safe. Of course, the tip isn't much use if you're stuck with shared public computers.
