I looked up "Pandora's Box". Sounds like a script that would've been perfect for a 1-hour episode was stretched into 176 anticlimactic minutes?

It's actually "Pandora's Clock", but other than that, you've nailed it. RDA spends a lot of time sitting in a cockpit, talking into a mike. OTOH, he's wearing a uniform and there are a lot of close-ups, so it's fine as eye candy.

Oh yeah, I saw it's other title is something like VIRUS OUTBREAK DOOM or something equally forgettable.
