Mac would never tie a cat to a bad guy. It would constitute animal cruelty, for heaven's sake!

The buttered toast angle, on the other hand, definitely merits serious research. Do you suppose that might be how Murdoc survived the fall off the Widowmaker? Maybe he had two pieces of buttered toast attached fore and aft, and ended up levitating!

What if it was a really BAD cat? Some kind of master criminal of the feline world?

The toast hypothesis makes more sense than just about any other justification for Murdoc's survival!

There's got to be some way of combining the buttered-toast survival tactic and tofu casserole whumpage into one really frightening crackfic.
