We are at my mom's, with all four kids here, including Only Son all the way from LA. It's a rare delight.
The last time he saw us, in Maine this August, who should he see on his plane but RDA, returning from a con in Europe and on the Boston to LAX portion of the journey home. The Whirlwind was utterly awed by and jealous of her big brother's Brush With Greatness.
Here's hoping you are enjoying a respite from the heat and humidity of other seasons. Don't bother flying up here to find the cold though. Here in NJ it was in the 70's on Christmas Eve, and Vermont friends were posting pictures of sneakered feet on green grass on Christmas Day. The world has gone mad.
