You have to wonder if RDA helped pick out his own wardrobe, or if the costume department was trying to see if he would wear whatever they gave him.

I mean, it's not *that bad* of a design, but around here, it would be attracting hummingbirds and fuzzy bees for miles...

Given that he's colour-blind, I'd guess the latter. (Most actors simply wear whatever they're handed, especially when the workday gets to the 14-hour range.) But he had enough input on his character that I can only assume he liked the idea of Mac wearing loud shirts.
