I was too tired to go back and correct the "bread peal" to "bread peel" as it should be. I see a bunch of Ancients pulling the rope to make the loaves of French bread up in the "breadfry" above knock together with that dull thump that crusty loaves would make under the circumstances...

Yeah, it's a real bâtard when that happens. And then the peasants start loafing around, and nothing gets done. It's crummy all around.
