Sigh...Paradise Lost...sigh...

Okay, so in medicine, PLE means "protein-losing enteropathy." It's bad, mmm-kay? But to LPFF and I, both of whom are medical, as you know, it means something else entirely. So much so that if we mean the medical thing, we specify that. Because to us, it means "Paradise Lost Experience," and, well, you had to be there.

I have no idea what your comment is about, BUT...

Hey! It's the dolls! The dolls from Dragon*Con! Sweet!

(I was the one who asked if Jack was picking his nose. Cuz, yeah...I don't know nothin' about no kidfic. Despite my squick over that particular genre, though, I do so like those little doll dudes! Well done! My icon is of my LEGO Star Wars Jack and Daniel avatars, so...I understand!)

Kat is the person who makes the dolls, and who draws the cartoons of 'Dak and Danny' as toddlers. I've posted some of her cartoons here; she did several in response to Fashion Week last year, and she's the one who drew the camel cartoon for my birthday, also last year.

She's had a very busy year this year: she recently made two dolls for the Michael Shanks charity auction on eBay -- one of Danny as a Canucks fan, and one of Danny as Hawkman. I don't remember the winning bid on the Hawkman doll, but it was into four figures.

And she doesn't brag about herself, so I have to do it for her. Nyaaa, Kat.

Yep, yep, yep! I know! I got to see the dolls at D*C and meet her and everything! Only for a bit, and I certainly don't know her well at all (you know I don't do kidfic), but I got a lovely photo of the boys!

That's fantastic about the charity stuff! Wow!
