Daniel: Jaaack? Isn't it about time for our check-in with Hammond?
Jack: [puts hand down to wrist to flip back the Velcro fla--] Oh, crap!
Sam: [eyeroll of suborndinate sarcasm] Again, sir?
Jack: [continues pained expression, eyes closed - see illustration - no other reply]
Teal'c: [fails to see how a warrior of such stature and merit can lose 4 watches in such a short time period, and says nothing. Such behavior should not be encouraged with an "Indeed!"]
Daniel: [plants a long straight stick in to the muddy ground, looks up at Jack] North?
Jack: [points]
Sam: How do you do that, sir?
Jack: [shrugs] Born with it?
Daniel: [having placed 12 pebbles, starting with the direction Jack indicated] So, 2:30 local time.
Jack: Carter?
Sam: [slight edge of irritation] Working on it, sir. Day lengths differ between here and Earth. [another moment of higher math face] Oh seven hundred 13 Cheyenne Mountain Time, sir.
Jack: A five minute walk back to the gate. Give me a heads-up in 12, Carter.
Sam: [death glare of wtf-ery] Ye-
Jack: On second thought, no harm done if I check in a few minutes early, right? I'll just be going now. Coming Carter?
Sam: [cheerfully] Yes, sir!
Jack: Watch the archeologeek, T!
Daniel: JAAAACK! [waits until they are around the bend in the forest path, pulls up sleeve, checks watch] 7:26 a.m. They better hurry. Do you have it?
Teal'c: Indeed. [fishes in his pocket, removes a watch, hands it to Daniel]
Daniel: Bottom of his sleeping bag this time?
Teal'c: That will be satisfactory.
Daniel: [starts to undo Jack's bedroll] You'll have to do it up again. I can't get it as compact and neat as you and Jack can.
