While the invisible paperclip has indeed many uses, not many people can actually use it, as the paperclip's manual is printed on invisible paper with invisible ink.
Even though there are a few who intuitively understand the paperclip's capabilities, the actual usage is still close to nil as far as its producers can see, because people tend to lose the invisible paperclips.
The paperclips' producers don't mind this however, because it means there is a steady demand for invisible paperclips.
Some shareholders complain because they do not see their shares' values, but these complaints are easily put aside as it was determined that the financial statements are completely transparent.
