If you think Shakespeare in broad Minnesotan would be odd [To be or nahht to be...], have you seen Jimmy Cagney as Bottom in the old Warner Brothers movie of A Midsummer Night's Dream? He doesn't soften his thick Brooklyn accent in the least!
