I approve of the above two icons, too. I don't even know [livejournal.com profile] lothithil's one's context, but I approve.

Hehe! I love it here.

Back when I first started watching New Series Doctor Who and bought the soundtrack, my mom said that the music reminded her of The Man from Uncle, which came on when she was... some age. I don't know.

She said she thought I'd like it.

What about pictures of pretty trees in--oh dear, it's much too late. NOT going there.

...seriously, my brain just kind of did that before I forced it to halt.

He is a very pretty man in a tree.

*pats you gently*

A pretty tree in a man... have you seen the movie 'The Fountain' by any chance?
(Like an LSD trip with subtitles) *chuckles*

*purrs*

No, I haven't seen it. There's a pretty tree in a man?!

Hugh Jackman, no less. In three different incarnations. One as a doctor, the second as a Spanish Conquistador, and the third as the epitome of a treehugger.

It is a visually fascinating film. You will need a box of kleenex, a full set of Encyclopedia, and possibly a visit to counselor afterward. Have a supply of chocolate and a comedy DVD on hand to aid in recovery.

Tied to trees is good. Then they can't get away.

They'll enjoy it, I promise.

Okay... so I get that there are Oz references in SG-1, but is there actually a reason behind that and other shows that reference Oz??? *dumb question*

I love pop culture shorthand and being able to appropriate it for my own use. So thank you very much for this handy-dandy definition! I like it quite a lot.

However, it still does come to the fact that, apparently, Stargate itself understands this quality, considering the copious amount of random Oz references it makes.

I love shows that are cheesy and cheerful about it. It's a nice counterbalance for things in which the world is ending and no one is laughing or feeling fine while this is going on.

(Thank you, about the icon!)

(I was going to go to bed about the time you did.)

(However, my roommate and I started talking about our mutual insanity.)

(And then I got an adrenaline rush.)

(I shall now pass out.)
