Yeah, good old Hoodat Whatzit. She made some great ones!

It was through her that I first discovered The Arrogant Worms, who are now one of my favorite bands! Her video "Rocks and Trees" did me in, and this one didn't hurt, either. I actually rarely listen to this Worms song, because sometimes it makes me sad (if I'm feeling pathetic) but other times it just cracks me up. Yesterday was a cracking up kind of day, so...sharing!

Yeah, well when I lived outside Philly, outside New York City, or in the Lower Peninsula of Michigan, and I told people when my birthday was (in mid-April), the reaction was always "Oh, what a lovely time of year! Daffodils!" Now that I live in Vermont, the reaction is always "[grunt of disparagement] Mud season! [regrunt]"

It is a cruel month here, but it's kinda like having a somewhat anti-social kid. It's my month (plenty long enough for me to share) and I love it anyway!

No, not the hair. The cheekbone.

MacGyver beat up on his cheekbones with a certain regularity. Stargate SG-1 took out its frustrations on his eyebrow.

That one (the Stargate, not the MacGyver, although I giggle at the aptness of the icon to making your argument) is the one where they had the continuity error, and the bruise migrates during the course of the episode from one side of his face to the other.

Those damned bruises . . . it's so hard to catch them during their migratory season.

Actualy, since RDA almost always got whumped on the left side of his face, I think the bruise felt self-concious about the irregularity.

Of course, he also got whumped mostly on his left side, so he could continue to function and do heroic action stuff and all that. I love the giveaway with the broken hand in MacGyver S1: it was a real broken hand, so he had to get whumped on his right side for a change.
