Well it was more of a small bush really. Jack munched on a little bush... and there's nothing wrong with that!

Ah, but when you consider the ramifications, that harmless small bush starts to look a little Harry.

This tastes like arugula! I hate arugula! ;)

Arugola, fine. But I just can't take my eyes off that chain, and that collarbone..

Is this a chain reaction?

Better to eat it before it eats you. I've heard stories of some shrubbery!

Leaf it alone, Jack! It will make you branch out into madness.

I may have heard the vegetarian werewolves a few nights ago, btw. I had assumed that they were coyotes, but come to think of it, I believe that they were saying "Ar-ar-ar-aroooooogula!"

My mother (whose idea of The Ideal Food is any and all bitter herbs) was - and is - very, very fond of arugula. Apparently one of my sisters is almost entirely made out of it. The icon represents my feeling about the Year of Much Arugula. I was 10. Ten year olds are not known for their passionate love of everything green and leafy, although I liked spinach just fine at the time.
