*nods* Now you mention it, I have doubts too - I'd want to check the episode, for sure, but the thumb isn't broken / curled back and I can't recall if that hyper-long ring finger is RDA's or Dan Shea's (the stunt guy). And it is a left hand (unless the film's been flipped), which slightly increases the odds it's a Dan Shea shot; he's a lefty.
(I know this because of the shot in the Stargate ep "Abyss" where stunt!Jack dials the Gate left-handed. *g* I once read a fan theory, based on that shot, that Goa'uld symbiotes can override their hosts' preferred handedness... XD Good times.)
I don't think Dan Shea was doing the stunts that season; they still had Steve Blalock.
RDA does have the extremely long, narrow ring finger. His forefinger often looks startlingly foreshortened in this kind of shot. And you can see a bit of the thumb crook, although it's minimized by the turn of the hand.
See my notes on Turtle's comment -- I think it might be, in spite of the stubby look to the forefinger. I've been checking a lot of hand shots and I've seen that forefinger foreshorten this much, although it's hard to believe.
One of my new bosses has hands that are almost exactly the size and shape of RDA's, and he gestures a lot as he talks. I was almost embarrassingly distracted during a recent meeting, because I was watching his forefingers get foreshortened as he gestured. (I was having a dreadful time paying any attention at all to what he was saying!)

(I do have my doubts about the hand, though. I'm not sure it belongs to RDA..)
